That street's not empty- it has a motorcycle on it.
There's a photographer too, but you can't see him. :-)
Weird. Is this normal or is it a Sunday?
WB, It was a Saturday, late afternoon. Rod Serling was standing off to one side saying something to me but I didn't catch what it was.
Doug:
you don't have to rub it in. Our riding season is coming to a fast end. It's not fair that your's is starting.
your bike is too clean

Doug,
I would also like to agree with Bob - that's one squeaky machine. Looks like it's time to run it through the desert.
I would also like to let you know I commented on your older post about visiting the motorcycle B&B. I don't want to say, "Look at me!" I just want you to know I think you are extremely lucky to have found a couple like that. I am very envious.

Nice photo. Love older town with little if any traffic. Sounds like you and the bike are ready to put some miles in.
As usual, very nice picture.
I have to echo bobskoot's comment. It's time to pass the torch to you guys in the desert. I just got back from a week long ride. Although I scheduled the weather to be fine, Mother Nature took a different view. 5 out of 7 days some to most rain. I had to cut the trip short because today was only 50 degrees, rain, and wind. Tomorrow, they are saying 30's and 40's with rain. 400 miles of slab to get home.
So it's all up to you until spring time. Use the time well.
Jac, I trust your blog will have stories and pictures of your adventure. It's always fun to see something other than an idyllic ride. As the saying goes "It's not an adventure until something goes wrong."
its almost too pretty to ride that... almost ;)
MQ, As a motorcycle restoration guy told me once "If you don't ride it, the next owner will."
The bike was actually pretty grungy after the dust storm thing + a ride down a mile of dirt road. Then the bike sat in the garage for a month and got saw dust all over it. I was finally starting to develop a facial twitch when I'd look at the thing so I washed it the other day (the bike, not my face. I wash my face every day whether it needs it or not).
As others have noted we're just coming to the end of our riding season here, which is when I begin dreaming of how nice it would be to be able to winter in Arizona and ride (and golf) year round. So I keep buying those lottery tickets.
