Motorcycle Bloggers International

Mike Werner over at Bikes in the Fast Lane decided it would be a good thing if a selection of bloggers, regular riders and enthusiasts from around the globe, got together and bestowed upon assorted bikes, people, and organizations, awards of merit or demerit for their efforts or lack of in the world of motorcycling. With Mike's vision and some general kibitzing by the rest of us, "Motorcycle Bloggers International" was born and with it the annual MBI Star Awards and Fallen Star Awards giving in each case to deserving souls.
I'm pleased to be a part of the happy and often opinionated group as most of the ring leaders are blogs I visit regularly (and you should too). Opinions formed by range of experience, cultural experience and depth of knowlege in differing areas create interesting perspectives on what is and isn't important, worthwhile, or good/evil in the world of motorcycling. Moosh all that knowledge and opinion together in one arena like Motorcycle Bloggers International and you can come up with some interesting and worthwhile conclusions.

And if you disagree with any of the results, write Mike Werner, it was all his idea; I just offered up my usual unrepentant opinion on stuff. If you like the results then you can write me and tell me how brilliant we all are.

An Important reminder from the past:
"Who will govern the governors? There is only one force in the nation that can be depended
upon to keep the government pure and the governors honest, and that is the people themselves.
They alone, if well informed, are capable of preventing the corruption of power, and of
restoring the nation to its rightful course if it should go astray. They alone are the safest
depository of the ultimate powers of government" - Thomas Jefferson
